What is CURE?
Citizens United for Rehabilitation of Errants(CURE)
is a grassroots organization founded in Texas in 1972. It became a national organization in 1985.
We believe prisons should only be used for those who must absolutely be incarcerated. That those incarcerated should have all the resources they need to turn their lives around. We believe human rights documents provide a sound basis for ensuring criminal justice systems meet these goals.
CURE is a national organization. We represent the Maryland chapter.
We are a voice in the advocacy of criminal justice reform in Maryland and we partner with like minded
